Kadun reunalta

(FI) Aamukahvin juontia piristi tänään tyttären koulumatkalla poimima kaunis luonnonkukkakimppu. (Myöhemmin iltapäivällä samainen neiti poimi jalkakäytävällä olleesta tavarakasasta vielä alakuvassa näkyvän pienen hauskan kastelukannun.) Luettavana oli iPadilta Grazia Casan inspiroiva Sisilia-teemanumero. Meillä on suunnitelmissa mennä Sisiliaan vasta syyslomalla, sillä elokuussa siellä on turhankin lämmintä, mutta tällä kertaa yritän suunnitella jo etukäteen sopivia päiväretkikohteita.

Buon fine settimana a tutti!

(EN) While drinking my morning cup of coffee today, I could enjoy these beautiful flowers my daughter picked on Friday on her way back home from school. (Later in the afternoon she found in a pile of stuff left on the pavement the small watering can you can see in the picture below.) I read on iPad the latest issue of Grazie Casa that's all about Sicily. I found it extremely inspiring. We're planning on going there only during the autumn holidays since it's even too hot in August but this time I want to prepare for the trip in advance and look for some beautiful places to visit. Our weekend started with full speed yesterday evening with summer parties both at our younger daughter's school and my husband's office but today and tomorrow we don't have anything special to do. I think I will do some weeding in the garden and maybe also visit the flea market tomorrow. Have a nice weekend!

As usual, you can find other Saturday morning coffee pictures visiting Ninja's blog.
